Premium Chippendale Drawer Pulls feature a classic design popularized in the late 1700s by renowned cabinet maker Thomas Chippendale. The distinctive maple leaf   backplate reflects the bold shapes he commonly used. This 3" size is typical of those found on antique dressers and secretary desks of that era. During the 20th century, the colonial revival movement reintroduced these 18th-century styles, making them a popular choice for chests, bureaus, bedroom furniture, dining room pieces, and Governor Winthrop desks in the 1920s.

If replacing drawer handles, check distance between holes

These premium handles are beautifully made of solid brass with nice weight and sharp detail. No-polishing is necessary, as brass is polished and lacquered to stay shiny. The quality is excellent. Swan neck bail handle is held by two posts that are permanently connected to backplate.

How to measure Drawer Pulls

• Boring: distance between center of mounting hole to center of adjacent mounting hole.
• If replacing handles: replacement-handle-boring must match actual boring measurement in drawer.
• Overall Size: width and height of handle at widest point.

How to Attach this Antique Style Pull

• Handle attaches to drawer with two machine screws
• Position handle on drawer front
• Insert screws through mounting holes, from drawer interior and screw into posts
• Thread size of machine screws is generally 8-32. Length supplied is determined by manufacturer. While supplied screw length is generally useful, occasionally a different size is required. Please let us know if you need a specific length. To determine the correct size: measure wood thickness and add 1/4".
