Chippendale Escutcheons

Maple Leaf Chippendale Escutcheons were used with matching handles on chests of drawers during the colonial era. Use these keyhole covers on antique and vintage furniture drawers to protect keyhole cutout from wear. The size and scale is smaller than some of this time period.

These premium keyhole covers are beautifully made of solid brass with nice weight and sharp detail. No-polishing is necessary, as brass is polished and lacquered to stay shiny.

Install - Surface Mount Escutcheon 

• Locate best placement for keyhole on furniture front. Make sure keyhole is aligned correctly with key pin in lock. Be sure hole in key barrel is lined up correctly to comfortably go over pin in lock mechanism.
• Mark location of both attachment pins. Be sure they are level with each other.
• Drill small pilot hole at attachment pin locations.
• Hold keyhole cover in place. Press each pin in hole and then tap into place.
