Lipped Keyhole Inserts provide a simple rolled-rim around edge of keyhole. This lipped rim rolls over outside edge of keyhole. Once installed it provides a tidy appearance. In addition, it often hides previous wood damage which may exist around the edge of keyhole. Use as replacements on antique furniture.
These Lipped Keyhole Inserts are cast brass. They offer a heavy rigid construction that does not bend. They are polished but not lacquered.

Richard Gautraud I wish I had bought a flush style because it is going on an "antique writing slope and fits the style of that period better. I was lured by the ability of the lips to cover any mismatch in my keyhole.
