    Vintage Table Hardware

    Drop Leaf Table Hinges are a reproduction style seen on many antique tables. This hard working vintage table hardware is steel with a fixed pin and countersunk holes.  These hinges are unique with barrel protruding on one side when hinge is closed. This style is know as a rule joint. Hinge-leaves are 2 different lengths.  If needed use with steel drop leaf table supports.

    Drop-leave hinges

    They look neat, but the approximate 1/16" lateral play between the leaves is somewhat worrying

    At last, a hinge that really fits.

    This was my third attempt at getting proper drop leaf hinges for an antique coffee table I rescued from the dump. One set had the hinges upside down, the barrel pointing up; the next was way, way too wide, although they specified it was to my specs. This one fits! And they arrived right on time.
