Antique Brass Bail Pulls are an undemanding style, enhancing both simple and ornate furniture designs. These handles were first used during the colonial era. Due to their popularity they have been used on many periods of furniture.

Reproduction antique brass bail pulls are an excellent choice for professionals and restorers, wanting accurate handles at a great price point. The economical price, authenticity and quality combine to make this an exceedingly useful furniture handle.

These popular bail pulls are brass. They are comprised of a bail handle and two rosettes. Bail handle swings from posts, in center of rosettes. The brass has an antique finish. It is darkened to look old.

Matching Antique Brass Bail Pulls

Measure Antique Brass Bail Pulls

  • Boring: distance between center of mounting hole to center of adjacent mounting hole.
  • If replacing handles:  replacement-handle-boring must match actual boring measurement in drawer.
  • Overall Size: width and height of handle at widest point.

Attach Bail Pulls

  • Place one rosette with post, on drawer front at mounting hole.  Insert screw, from drawer interior, through mounting hole and screw into back of post (do-not tighten).
  • Insert bail in mounted post. Add second rosette with post, to other end of bail.
  • Insert 2nd screw, from drawer interior, through 2nd mounting hole and screw into back of second rosette with post.
  • Once together and in place, tighten screws.
  • Bail Handles are secured using 8-32 machine screws. Length supplied is determined by manufacturer. While supplied screw length is generally useful, occasionally a different size is required. Please let us know if you need a specific length. To determine the correct size: measure wood thickness and add 1/4".

Excellent product, good price, excellent service

Just what we were looking for

We needed to replace worn out pulls on two period chest of drawers. Paxton Hardware helped us find just the right size of pull and rosettes. We are very happy with our new pulls which greatly improved the look of the furniture. Great customer service by Paxton!

Well Made Attractive Pulls

We purchased replacement pulls for two period chest of drawers since the original pulls (dating to the 1940's) were losing their finish and were getting weak and breaking. Paxton Hardware Customer Service helped us to find on their website the pulls that looked almost identical to the ones we were replacing. We needed two different sizes of matching pulls with a certain rosette size. We are thankful to Paxton for their commitment to customer service!
