Caster selection is based upon: weight capacity,
mounting type, height caster will raise furniture, scale and appearance

• Stem: 1/4" Diameter x 1" Height
• Load capacity: 200 pounds per caster
• If updating vintage furniture, replace all casters. This insures uniform height, style & appearance.

Expertly made from heavy brass castings, these reproduction wheel casters offer exceptional strength and load-bearing capability. The wheels swivel and roll smoothly, enhancing mobility. The brass resists corrosion. Finish is a darkened patina, providing an authentic antique look for your furniture.

Install Plate Type Caster

• Casters should be installed perpendicular to the floor.
• Drill hole, depth of steel drive stem, using drill bit a hair smaller in diameter than caster stem.
• Gently tap threaded drive stem up into leg. Stem should fit snug but not tight, in hole.
• Outside diameter of mounting plate should not be larger than furniture leg diameter. Mark location of plate screw holes in bottom of leg.
• Remove caster. Pre-drill pilot holes for brass screws.
• Insert caster stem back up into leg.
• Attach caster plate to bottom of furniture leg with screws. Stem keeps caster from wobbling. Screws hold caster to furniture leg

Load Capacity, caster strength and stability is directly related to correct installation. If a caster is incorrectly installed it will-not be strong or serviceable.
