    Chippendale Drawer Pull Measurements

Antique Chippendale Pulls are a small yet bold size having 2" centers. This 18th century style was favored during colonial times in America. These antique drawer handles are suitable on small drawers. They are often used on tables, boxes and small chests.  These reproduction Chippendale pulls are brass.  Finish is antique. It is darkened to look old. The antique finish is hand applied and may vary from one to the next. This slight variations in color provides a natural and more authentic appearance.

    Measure Antique Drawer Pulls

    • Boring: distance between center of mounting hole to center of adjacent mounting hole.
    • If replacing handles:  replacement-handle-boring must match actual boring measurement in drawer.
    • Overall Size: width and height of handle at widest point.

    Attach Chippendale Handles

    • Posts, bail and backplate are separate, assemble when mounting.
    • Insert one post into backplate and position on drawer front. Insert screw, from drawer interior, through mounting hole and screw into back of post (do-not tighten).
    • Insert bail in mounted post, add second post to other end of bail, insert second post through backplate, continue as before.
    • Once together and in place, tighten screws.
    • Pulls are secured using 8-32 machine screws. Length supplied is determined by manufacturer. While supplied screw length is generally useful, occasionally a different size is required. Please let us know if you need a specific length. To determine the correct size: measure wood thickness and add 1/4".

Quality product at a fair price

Look good on my roll top desk drawers although it is a 3-step drilling process, drill once for screw holes then counter sink for the handle holders on the front, then due to my screw on drawer fronts I needed to counter sink the screw heads on the back.

    Drawer pulls

High quality, easy to use. Very attractive product. The only problem I had was that the screws were too long. Luckily, I was able to use the screws from the old, broken pulls instead.

Drawer pull did the trick. Thanks
