Large Pattern Glass Knobs provide a bold appearance often seen on Federal and Empire furniture of the 1800's. The popularity of pattern glass during this era is evident in its adornment paxton hardware ltd of furniture as well as tableware.
These styles were originally produced by the Sandwich Glass Factory. Mold-blown pressed glass was created with stippled designs to refract the light. The oversize appearance, wider base and historic style makes these glass knobs a focal point.
