Install

To install a replacement wick in a oil lamp:

  • Remove glass chimney
  • Unscrew burner and remove burner from lamp
  • Turn adjuster knob on burner to unwind old wick
  • Once old wick is removed, feed replacement wick up through slot in bottom of burner, using adjuster knob to wind wick upwards.
  • Wick should not protrude more than 1/8"
  • If top is uneven trim straight.
  • Let base of wick soak in oil for 15–20 minutes to absorb oil up wick before lighting.

Oil Lamp Wick is clean burning, long lasting, double sewn cotton and made in USA. Offered in many sizes to fit a variety of old and new lamps. Fits many #2 burners. Determine size by measuring width of channel in lamp burner.
