Half Mortise Box Lock

• Backset- Distance To Pin: 15/16" this measurement is critical if replacing a lock as keyhole in lock and furniture must line up together.
• Lock Plate: 3" wide x 1-9/16" high
• Selvedge: 3" x 1/2"

This lock is crafted with durability in mind. It is expertly constructed with a brass face plate and strike. The lock body and locking mechanism is steel.  Lock box is riveted to the faceplate. Made in England.

• Install this half mortise lock into a partial cut out on furniture interior. In closed position, lock is not seen.
• Strike attaches underneath surface of lid.
• If replacing an old lock: measure distance between top edge of lock to lock pin in center of keyhole. This measurement is known as the backset.
