    How to measure a plate-type caster for furniture
    • Wheel Diameter: 1-3/8"
    • Wheel Width: 5/8"
    • Raises Furniture: 2"
    • Plate Diameter: 1-1/8" x 1/8" Thick
    • Stem: 1/4" Diameter x 1" Height
    • Load capacity: 200 pounds per caster

    These reproduction antique furniture casters are expertly made. Each is solid brass, made from substantial castings. The finish has been darkened to appear old. Caster swivels at swivel-joint between fork and leg plate.  These premium casters are made for years of service. 

    Install Antique Brass Casters

    Load Capacity, caster strength and stability is directly related to correct installation. If a caster is incorrectly installed it will-not be strong or serviceable.

    • Spiral-threaded drive stem must fit tightly into drilled hole, in furniture leg, with as little play as possible.
    • Round caster-plate adds additional support under furniture leg. Attach with 4 wood screws.

    Between the excellent pictures & dimensions on line. To the person on the other end of the ph as I asked questions I am extremely satisfied. We are restoring a family table that is over 120 yrs old. The 5 legs had 3 different styles of casters on it when we got it. These new casters look as though they date with our table.
