Brass Corner Bracket

I ordered an item online that was described as a 4-inch corner bracket. As a contractor, a 4-inch corner bracket means an arm length of 4 inches. Evidently, Paxton Hardware interprets that as a total metal length of 4 inches. In this review form, Paxton Hardware now describes the item as having an „arm length“ of 2 inches. No where on the advertisement to which I responded was this expressed. I have not had time to pursue returning this bracket. At the moment, I am mentally writing this off as a loss. I am left with the question, are decorative corner brackets usually described by running length, or was this an advertising error?

These campaign desk corner brackets are perfect. They are just the right size and thickness. The desk I built turned out to be an exact replica of a photo I was given of an antique desk - part of the success was due to the brass I used and I thank Paxton for carrying this particular item. I have another desk to be built on order and I'll be buying more of these very soon.

I repainted an older media cabinet to fit in with changing decor. I bought 4 pieces of trim for the front, liked the effect, and bought 4 more for the top. The piece looks great with the new color and the trim. Very satisfied with this product.
