  • Mount handle at a comfortable height to lift from.
  • Use one on each end of a chest or trunk. 
  • Surface Mount
  • Determine mounting location
  • Mark then drill pilot holes at screw locations
  • Attach brass chest lift with four wood screws
Description

Antique Brass Lifting Handle for Furniture displays beautiful patina and superb craftsmanship that distinguishes genuine antique restoration work. It adds utility and style to chests, boxes, trunks and dressers. The design is authentic, matching those from the 19th century. While engineered for durability, we recommend supporting heavy furniture from beneath rather than relying solely on the handle for weight-bearing.
Material & Finish

These lifting handles are solid brass with a built in stop. Thus the handle can swing up, to 90 degrees. Finish is darkened to look old. The are substantial and sturdy, however we do-not suggest picking up heavy pieces with them. Brass is naturally a somewhat soft metal, therefore when moving recommend lifting heavy furniture from underneath when moving it.
