Premium Chippendale Drawer Pulls are a favorite style from the late 18th century. The familiar maple leaf pattern backplate is indicative of the bold shape backplates Chippendale used on his furniture.
The 20th century colonial revival period brought these furniture handles back into the main stream. They were used on chests, bureaus, bedroom sets, dining room furniture and Governor Winthrop desks.
These premium Chippendale drawer pulls are reproduced in solid brass with nice weight and sharp detail. Finish is lacquered to stay shiny, no-polishing is necessary. Posts, holding swan neck bail, are permanently connected to backplate. The quality is excellent, suitable for both antique and vintage furniture.
Boring: distance between center of mounting hole to center of adjacent mounting hole.
If replacing handles: replacement-handle-boring must match actual boring measurement in drawer.
Overall Size: width and height of handle at widest point.
