    Measure Offset H Hinge

    These Brass Offset H Hinges add a touch of elegant brass to lipped overlay cabinets. Popular in the 17th and 18th centuries, they are still a timeless choice for antique furniture. The clean, straight lines also complement some contemporary designs.

    These H Hinges are solid brass. They are expertly made. The quality is evident in the thickness of the brass and the precision joints. Beveled edges soften the transition between cupboard and hinge.  Screw holes are counter sunk. Finish is polished and lacquered for a long lasting shine. 

    H Hinge Considerations

    • Use on left and right hand lipped overlay doors.
    • Surface mount to exterior of door or cabinet.
    • Be sure hinges are lined up correctly, one above the other.
    • Once installed, complete hinge is visible.
    • Average furniture doors use one pair of hinges, tall doors may require 1-1/2 pairs.

    Hinges are near identical to the old broken ones I replaced

    These were for the lower doors on a pre-civil war Dutch Cupboard from Lancaster County, PA.
    (I removed the clear coating and "aged" them with vinegar and salt to get them to match the upper hinges still on the piece.)
    They look terrific!
