During the course of restoring a late 19th century walnut kitchen table we realized that three of the four cast iron casters were broken and needed replacement. These casters were an exact duplicate to the originals in an antiqued brass. They look great and fitted perfectly.

I looked high and low for replacement casters on my 1930's mahogany dresser. Paxton Hardware casters are the perfect solution. They blend with the existing brass hinges nicely, and were relatively easy to install. Ordering was simple. I received them quickly and I am very pleased with the outcome.

One of the old casters snapped in half at the base of my victorian parlor chair. I ordered this for a replacement after carefully comparing the measurements. The stem was a little wider than the original, so I followed another buyer's advise about gently widening the hole by scraping the sides with a screwdriver. Worked well and gentle way to take out just a little at a time as needed. I made sure there was enough wood removed so that the stem wouldn't put undue pressure on the old wood. My chair foot felt a little fragile, so I strengthened it with a little epoxy solution before installing the new castor.

Castor was the exact same design as the original so other than widening the hole a bit, installation was super easy. Chair is now good as new (Old) :) Would definitely purchase again. Quality is great and shipping was quick.
