Surface Lock for Cabinet Doors

• Backset-Distance To Pin: 1/2" (13 mm) this measurement is critical if replacing a lock as keyhole in lock and furniture must line up together.
• Lock Plate: 1" wide x 2" high (26 mm x 51 mm)

Install Considerations

• Cabinet Door Surface Lock is quick and easy to install as no mortising is need
• Mount lock directly to cabinet door interior
• Surface locks are unique in that they are reversable, meaning that they can be used on either a right or left hand door.
• If replacing an old lock: measure distance between selvedge-edge (edge where bolt shoots through lock) to lock pin in center of keyhole. This measurement is known as the backset.
