Brass Push Thru Lamp Sockets have an easy to use, push-thru stem to toggle lamp socket between on or off positions. This is a very basic lamp socket useful where simple is best.
The socket body is stamped brass, providing superior durability and a long-lasting quality appearance. Unlike brass-plated or brass-guilt sockets, it does not become dull or washed-out over time.
Before making any changes to electrical fixtures and/or lamps
- Disconnect plug/wire from the electrical source.

joe c. This socket is fine if you just want on and off operation I got it home opened the package, was going to assemble the lamp then my wife said it needs to be a 3-way socket now. So now I got to come back later and get a 3 way.. Oh - well happy wife - happy life :-)

Oak knobs are hard to find locally here in the Florida panhandle. I had a few from a prior order from somewhere (I don't remember). The quality of these far surpassed the ones I had. Additionally the sipping was quick. I am very pleased with this product. The prcie was also good and the shipping (not a large orer) was not bad.
