Finding an exact match for an old lock is not always possible, as only a limited amount of sizes are now made.

Narrow Clock Door Locks are ideal for doors with slender stiles. Use on Curios, China cabinets and clock cases. Easy to install, simply surface mount. Attach with two screws to the back of the door. Bolt exits from either side for use on both right or left handed doors. *
This is a very reasonably priced clock door lock, as such: locking mechanism is average, not as smooth as finer made brass locks, yet is serviceable. Made in Asia.
Choosing Surface Locks
For help measuring and selecting surface locks, we recommend reading: How to select, measure and install surface locks.
If replacing a lock:
- If you have old lock: measure distance between selvedge-edge (edge where bolt shoots through lock) to lock pin in center of keyhole. This measurement is known as the backset.
- If original lock is not available, determine backset by measuring: distance from center of keyhole to edge of cabinet door.
- The replacement lock's backset measurement must match location of keyhole in furniture.
